CHOCOLATE SPICE BROWNIES
Need to satisfy those sweet cravings? Try baking these incredibly rich, fudgy & delicious Chocolate Brownies. Serve warm with ice-cream!
for 8 to 10 servings
1 1/4 cups plain flour
3/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
380g dark chocolate, roughly chopped
240g unsalted butter, cubed
1/4 tsp MasterFoods Nutmeg
1/2 tsp MasterFoods Allspice
1 tsp Masterfoods Ground Ginger
1 tsp MasterFoods Ground Cinnamon
1/4 cup MasterFoods Vanillin Sugar
1/2 cup raw sugar
1 cup brown sugar
Peheat a fan-forced oven to 180˚C and line a brownie pan with baking paper and spray with oil, setting aside. In a medium bowl whisk the flour, salt, cocoa powder and MasterFoods spices (except the Vanillin Sugar) together.
Place the chocolate and butter in a bowl over a saucepan of slightly simmering water and stir until both the chocolate and butter are completely melted and combined.
Turn off the heat and stir in the Vanillin Sugar, followed by the remaining sugars. Once combined, take the bowl off the heat and allow to cool slightly.
One at a time, add the eggs to the chocolate mixture and whisk until combined.
Sprinkle the dry mixture over the wet mixture and using a spatula or wooden spoon, gradually fold in to combine. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25 – 30 minutes.
Let it cool completely, then lift them out of the pan using the baking paper.
Cut into squares and serve with whipped cream
