ORANGE GLAZED LEG HAM

Delicious, sweet and citrusy Orange Glazed Ham

5kg leg of ham
2 oranges, sliced
1/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup orange juice
1/2 cup orange marmalade
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Whole cloves, to decorate
Rosemary, to decorate

Preheat oven to 180°C.

Remove and discard the skin of the ham carefully with a sharp knife.

Place the ham in a roasting pan, fat side up. Score the ham in diamond shapes with a sharp knife.

Stir the marmalade, orange juice, brown sugar and mustard in a small saucepan over low heat until the marmalade has melted.

Brush the ham with 1/2 of the glaze and place orange pieces in a decorative pattern over the ham, using toothpicks to secure them. Push cloves into the orange pieces.

Pour the remaining glaze over the ham.

Cook ham for 2 hours, basting it with glaze from the pan every 20 minutes. Cooking times may vary, cook until oranges have caramelised and ham is heated through.
